“Roches remarquables” are typical for the woods round Château de Frankenbourg, a medieval castle with massive walls and tower, a deep well and a magnificent view of the Vosges and the Château du Haut Koenigsbourg!The walk will take 4 to 5 hours (approx. 12km, 365m difference in altitude). So wear good shoes and don’t forget your picnic. After the walk we will have a drink in the Patisserie Pfister in Villé.
Sunday May 19th 2019, at 10.30 a.m.Meeting place: Car park in Villé next to the former railway station (now a gallery), on the left soon after you get into the village : take the motorway from Strasbourg to Sélestat, turn off to Villé: first N 59 and after about 4 km, D 424.
