Venue change for afterwork on 6th December 6.30pm, now at « Café Brant»
Our next afterwork get-together will take place on Friday 6 December in the warm atmosphere of a Viennese coffee house, namely Café Brant, located, 11 place de l’Université in Strasbourg.
Do note that venue initially foreseen was Aedaen Place. Due to the difficulties to accede to the centre of Strasbourg during the Christmas Market, the decision was taken to go to a bar outside of the ‘Grande Île’.
Situated in the sumptuous Neustadt district Café Brant takes its name from the famous humanist writer and German poet Sebastian Brant. The vocation of this historical place of catering started in 1898. After the names of “Zur Universität and “Mon plaisir”, it took the current name of Café Brant in 1988.
Meet us there from 6.30 pm onwards for an hour or two in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy the odd drink or two be they draught beers, spirits or cocktails.
The usual formula is that everybody pays upon being served for their drinks and complementary sides while the ESC provides some nibbles.
