Cultural events at the ESC

Our members are offered the opportunity to visit museums, exhibitions, various neighbourhoods of Strasbourg and surroundings, and learn about arts in a friendly atmosphere. Our visits are held in English with the help of official tour guides.

Cultural outings are organised from time to time and could be held indoors and outdoors.

For all our get-togethers, it is recommended to have a good command of the English language.

Christmas party and quiz

Sign up by 31 October

Saturday 6 December, 7 pm. Bande à Part, 4 rue Pierre Bucher, 67000 Strasbourg

Our annual Christmas party is once again just around the corner. This year we will gather together in a private location, namely at “Bande à Part”, 4 rue Bucher, Strasbourg, a restaurant/wine bar, situated near Place de la République. Organising our Christmas Party in town allows us to welcome up to 50 people.

The theme for this year’s party and quiz will take you back to the 70s, also called “disco era”. The 1970s were an iconic decade marked by profound societal, cultural, political, and technological changes. With its protest movements, technological advances, musical transformations, and economic shifts, this period continues to influence the contemporary world. They were also a time of great creativity and style, epitomised by disco music and its wild parties.

Join us if you want to be part of what is certain to be a really enjoyable evening with your ESC friends. In previous years, we have made it a habit to dress up in accordance to the theme of the party. So, this year again, it’s totally up to you to wear whatever makes you feel in the “disco” mood and customise your clothes as much as you want.

Food (buffet dinner) and drinks (one glass for the appetiser and one glass of wine) will be provided at a subsidized price of €20 per member. If you are interested in this event, we recommend you sign-up as rapidly as possible, the deadline to finalise the booking at “Bande à Part” being 31 October.
