Guided visit of the “Frisbee” exhibition at Musée Würth- Sign-up

Saturday, 6 July 2024 at 2 pm at Musée Würth in Erstein

With the Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place in France, the ESC is organizing a guided visit in English of the “Frisbee” exhibition, at the Musée Würth in Erstein on Saturday 6 July at 2 pm.

The “Frisbee” exhibition invites visitors to explore the diversity of sporting disciplines, their adoption by the post-war consumer society, the joys of outdoor recreation and board games, as well as the Olympic Games. Through a plurality of aesthetics and perspectives, it highlights the extent to which many artists, from Andy Warhol to Alfred Hrdlicka, via Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Max Ernst and Elisabeth Sabala, have been fascinated by boxing, bullfighting, dance and chess.

The price is €10 for members and €13 for guests; if you are interested please sign up at the top before 24 June.

For all our get-togethers, it is recommended to have a good command of the English language.
