Bonfire night

Guy Fawkes, the most famous traitor in British history, tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament and King James I in the Gunpowder plot of 1606. The anniversary of his arrest is celebrated each year with bonfires (including an effigy of Guy on top) and fireworks.

Burns supper

End of January every year, the ESC honours the life and work of the Scottish poet Robert Burns. Guests enjoy a traditional Scottish 3-course menu including the famous McSweens’s haggis. Live musicians on stage for the ceilidh dancing together with the pipers provide musical interludes throughout the evening. A real treat!

 Annual barbecue

A golden opportunity to connect with old friends and meet with new people in the relaxed atmosphere of the garden of l’Escale. Good food, games for the kids and mellow jazz contribute in making this such a worthwhile experience. Our annual summer barbecue takes place on Sunday 9 June.

The scenic outdoors of the “Orangerie” in Strasbourg are the perfect setting for our autumn family picnic.  You bring your own food and we provide for the entertainment and an awesome afternoon together.
